BANDA ACEH, MUSANEWS – SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Banda Aceh telah menciptakan gebrakan prestasi yang memukau di ajang Olimpiade Bahasa Inggris yang diselenggarakan oleh PGRI Aceh tahun ini.
Meskipun tidak meraih medali emas, sekolah ini berhasil meraih medali perak melalui salah seorang siswanya bernama Putroe Naila ‘Alayya dalam ajang Olimpiade Sains PGRI Aceh yang diselenggarakan pada 20 Agustus itu di AAC Dayan Dawood Universitas Syiah Kuala.
Pada saat acara pengumuman lomba pada 3 September 2023 di UUC Ahmad Dahlan. SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Banda Aceh, meraih medali perak pada kompetisi Bahasa Inggris.
Waka Kurikulum SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Banda Aceh Zul Hilmi dengan bangga memberikan apresiasi yang di raih oleh Putroe Nailya ‘Alayya. “Saya selaku Waka Kurikulum memberikan selamat kepada Putroe Naila ‘alaya yang meraih medali perak pada ajang kompetisi Sains PGRI Aceh 2023 prestasi yang sangat luar biasa pada ajang kompetisi bidang bahasa inggris,” ungkapnya.
Ketua PWM Aceh, A. Malik Musa, juga memberikan ucapan kepada siswa yang meraih medali perak pada ajang Olimpiade PGRI Aceh. Ajang ini memacu semangat belajar di kalangan siswa-siswi, dan diharapkan kompetisi ini akan memberikan pengalaman berharga bagi para siswa/siswi dan merangsang minat dalam ilmu pengetahuan.
“Kita sebagai organisasi tentu bangga atas prestasi siswa dan guru-guru di SMA Muhammadiyah dan kepada Siswa-siswa SMA Muhammadiyah yang telah memperoleh hadiah. Terus meningkatkan ilmunya di bidang masing-masing. kalau sudah selesai di SMA, lanjutkan ke jenjang pendidikan S1, S2, dan S3 jangan merasa bosan dalam menuntut ilmu.”-Ujar Ketua Umum Pimpinan Wilayah Muhammadiyah Aceh.
Adapun bidang yang di perlombakan Kompetisi sains Olimpiade Sains PGRI Aceh 2023 diperuntukkan untuk siswa-siswi jenjang SMA/MA/SMK diseluruh Aceh. Berikut adalah bidang yang diperlombakan :Matematika, Fisika, Biologi, Ekonomi, Kimia, Geografi,Bahasa Inggris.
